SALARY: $68,000 - $93,000/year

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

  • Modify, service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness.

  • Ensure timely completion of tasks in compliance with federal regulations, customer guidelines, and company policies.

  • Review and maintain required customer and FAA paperwork for maintenance updates and regulatory compliance.

  • Supervise and co-sign for uncertified mechanics following established procedures.

  • Lead and perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alterations on aircraft, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

  • Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) through mentoring and work assignments.

  • Perform maintenance tasks and contribute actively to the team.

  • Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of aircraft systems and assigned work areas.

  • Utilize Avionics hand tools proficiently for repairs and installations.

  • Prepare routine reports and correspondence.

  • Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies per drawings and standard practices.

  • Diagnose, repair, and test aircraft components as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' avionics experience.

  • Proficiency with Standard Wiring Practices Manual.

  • Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License preferred.

  • B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification a plus.

  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal communication).

  • Mathematical proficiency for problem-solving.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Flexible to work overtime and travel as required.

  • Competencies: Adaptability, Communications, Dependability, Initiative, Teamwork, Work Quality

Physical Requirements:

  • Compliance with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program.

  • Ability to climb, work on ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (up to 75 pounds with assistance).

  • Reach overhead, work in non-dust-free environments, and perform tasks requiring precise vision and full hand motion.
