We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our growing team and drive impactful change across our projects and initiatives. If you are a forward-thinking business analyst with a passion for driving change and achieving excellence, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • This Lead Business Analyst position reports to the Technology team and defines business requirements and business processes that Technology can use to design and develop solutions for large projects.
  • The Lead Business Analyst is responsible for data mapping and analysis, user story development, gap analysis, risk mitigation, stakeholder analysis, managing project backlog, and user acceptance testing.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of business/systems analyst experience or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills; a strategic thinker who also pays attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong partnering, negotiating, and consensus-building skills.
  • Demonstrated strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills as well as facilitation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis on large projects or varying project types.
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements and acceptance criteria for agile projects.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies including the writing of user stories, acceptance criteria, elicitation, and documentation and managing requirements over the software development life cycle.
  • Experienced in SCRUM/KANBAN/LEAN, and project planning at a sprint and iteration level.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working on complicated data integration projects.
  • Effective engagement and collaboration with a diverse set of clients, partners, and stakeholders with the ability to articulate their business needs into capabilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of value-driven business results and metrics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and SmartSheets.
  • Experience developing eCommerce applications in the travel trade industry.
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
