Lead Data Analyst Palantir Aip Foundry Apply
Role: Lead Data Analyst Palantir AIP & Foundry.
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid).
Duration: Long Term Contract.
Job Summary:
- The Lead Data Analyst will own the end-to-end use of Palantir AIP and Palantir Foundry to turn complex operational and manufacturing data into actionable, high-impact insights. In this hybrid leadership role, you will design data models and pipelines, guide ontology-driven analytics, and champion data-driven decision making across business and plant operations, with a strong focus on reliability, governance, and stakeholder enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Use Palantir AIP to explore large, complex datasets and generate decision-ready analyses, leveraging ontology-aware agents and reproducible workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, supply chain, engineering) to capture data requirements and implement solutions in Foundry (pipelines, transformations, object sets, and applications).
- Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines in Foundry to ensure accurate, consistent, and well-governed data assets for reporting and advanced analytics.
- Create dashboards, applications, and reports in Palantir technologies to communicate trends, anomalies, and KPIs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify patterns and root causes in manufacturing and operational data to improve throughput, quality, asset utilization, and cost efficiency.
- Enforce data integrity, lineage, and security by applying best practices in data governance and ontology design.
- Mentor junior analysts on Palantir tools, data modeling, analytic techniques, and storytelling with data.
- Partner with Industrial Manufacturing teams to embed analytics into production workflows, maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement programs.
- Conduct periodic data quality checks and audits to ensure compliance with corporate policies and relevant industry regulations.
- Lead data initiatives from scoping and backlog definition through delivery, stakeholder sign-off, and operationalization.
- Stay current with new Palantir AIP features, Foundry capabilities, and industry analytics trends, and roll out improvements to existing solutions.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to raise data literacy and effective use of Palantir tools across business units.
- Contribute to the design and refinement of data governance frameworks, including roles, responsibilities, and standards for data ownership and quality.
Refined Qualifications:
- 7 10 years of experience in analytics or data science, with substantial hands-on work in Palantir AIP, Foundry, and related Palantir technologies.
- Strong skills in data modeling, pipeline development, and data integration, ideally within ontology-driven platforms like Foundry.
- Demonstrated ability to build dashboards, applications, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights and support decision-making.
- Experience in Industrial Manufacturing (plant operations, production, maintenance, quality, or supply chain) applying analytics to improve operational performance is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of engaging with business stakeholders and translating ambiguous requirements into robust analytical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence senior stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous learning, with an appetite to adopt new Palantir AIP/Foundry features, AI/ML approaches, and industry best practices.
Certifications (Required):
- Palantir Certified Data Analyst.
- Palantir Data Science or equivalent certification in Palantir technologies (or evidence of equivalent expertise).
