Job Overview As a Lead Matillion Data Engineer you will spearhead the design, development, and implementation of ETL pipelines for processing healthcare data. Your role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, scalable, and high-performance data solutions that maintain consistency and quality. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align data requirements and mentor junior engineers, contributing significantly to the company's data‑driven strategies and objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and delivery of ETL pipelines to process healthcare data. Ensure efficient, scalable, and high‑performance solutions with data consistency and quality. Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment on data requirements. Mentor junior engineers and team members. Address and resolve issues related to ELT processes, ensuring minimal disruptions and maintaining data integrity. Collaborate with the client department to understand their data needs and provide solutions. Participate in the development, testing, and enhancement of data engineering processes. Required Skills Cloud‑Native Data Engineering – Mandatory: Experience in cloud‑native data engineering including Snowflake, Azure, Matillion, DBT ETL tools. ETL Pipeline Development – Mandatory: Ability to design, develop, and deliver ETL pipelines to process healthcare data. Data Modeling – Mandatory: Experience in data modeling for Data Warehouse in Snowflake. Healthcare Payor Domain – Mandatory: Experience in healthcare payor domain with focus on data governance, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare‑related data processing. Leadership Skills – Mandatory: Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. HIPAA Compliance – Mandatory: Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare data security, privacy, and regulatory standards. Data Warehouse Solutions – Mandatory: Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Non‑Mandatory: Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment on data requirements.
