We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline our development and deployment processes, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems.



Below is the skillset priority they are really looking for:

1. Proficient in Secrets management tools such as AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault

2. ArgoCD

3. Gitlab

4. External Secrets Operator (Kubernetes)



Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

2. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.

3. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage resources.

4. Configure and manage container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for containerized applications.

5. Deep understanding of core DevOps practices (Configuration Management, Continuous Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Monitoring)

6. Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and addressing issues to ensure uninterrupted service.

7. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for cloud deployment.

8. Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.

9. Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, providing timely resolution and root cause analysis.

10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing, recommending improvements to enhance our infrastructure and processes.



Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

2. 8+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud technologies.

3. Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EKS,EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.

4. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

5. Proficiency in scripting languages.

6. Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

7. Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD or AWS CodePipeline.

8. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

9. Proficient in Secrets management tools such as AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault

10. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

11. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
