A Lead Electrical Engineer is capable of leading/driving design decisions, oversee project staff, and is capable of being the main point of contact for a project.

Key Results Area #1:

  1. Fully understand follow EP drafting standards.
  2. Responsible for consistent sheet and background set-up.
  3. Establish a high level of efficiency for all drafting tasks.
  4. Complete construction documents with a high level of accuracy and completeness.
  5. Set a standard for effective communication with staff and with other design professionals.

Key Results Area #2:

  1. Assist owner in making informed lighting and systems decisions at start of projects.
  2. Responsible for full lighting design and documentation on projects.
  3. Develop accurate, code-compliant, coordinated, and efficient designs.
  4. Offer responsive construction administration services.
  5. Expertise in full power and systems design and documentation on projects.
  6. Perform facility assessments.

Key Results Area #3:

  1. Mentor younger staff to help them develop on projects.
  2. Perform quality assurance checks.

Requirements

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited program.
  • 4+ Years relevant electrical design experience as a student, intern or closely related through commercial work experience, academic research and/or academic coursework.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred:

  • Active Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota.
