Role Lead Embedded Engineer (Permanent). Location: Hethel, Norfolk NR14 8FP. Working Model: Hybrid (3 days in office). Work Hours: 37.5 per week. (8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday). Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of engineers working on BSW and Application Software. Manage the full software lifecycle, from requirements and architecture to validation and release. Develop high-quality embedded software using model-based development, autocode, and manual coding. Oversee software integration with hardware, supporting bench, HIL, and dynamometer testing. Core Requirements Deep expertise in embedded software for electric drives, including motor and DC-DC control algorithms. Proven track record of leading software teams, planning, and maintaining strong documentation. Familiarity with critical industry standards such as ISO 26262, MISRA C, and ASPICE.
