Lead Engineer – Aerospace Manufacturing

Recco Products, a leader in aerospace-quality filter manufacturing, is seeking a Lead Engineer to design, improve, and optimize production processes. In this role, you’ll direct new product development, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and provide technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with customer engineering on design and product changes to optimize manufacturability, process efficiency, and product quality.

• Champion lean manufacturing and CI initiatives to deliver measurable gains in cost, quality, and productivity.

• Ensure compliance with internal and customer drawings and specifications, serving as the technical escalation point for engineering interpretation and decisions.

• Lead creation and control of manufacturing documentation to ensure compliant, repeatable, and efficient production processes.

• Establish standards for equipment maintenance, workplace organization (5S), and safety to ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.

• Analyze complex technical issues, assess risk, and make sound engineering and business decisions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required; no employment sponsorship available due to ITAR restrictions.
• At least 5 years of Aerospace engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
