WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: An expert in adult learning theory and interactive design models, you will be responsible for setting learning outcomes and creating compelling course content that matches them-all while leading key conversations with clients to drive action and clarity. You will run subject matter expert contribution sessions, including advising and capturing insight, then translate information into suggested design and content. You will develop course assessments to measure, evaluate and align to the outcomes, and most importantly, will ensure design consistency and quality across all deliverables As a Lead Experience Designer, you will be managing the design and delivery of highly experiential learning design using Oxygen's methodology, Accelerated Learning. You will interpret and execute the architecture as designed by the Lead Learning Consultant. You will keep a laser focus by driving toward specific learning outcomes, quality control and client relations. Partner with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to align content; conduct independent research as needed Emphasize collaboration (both virtual and in-person) and iteration vs. prolonged solo work amongst the team Include digital technologies as appropriate to achieve desired learning outcomes for clients Think outside the box and be innovative in order to land the learning Keep close with the development team to coach, encourage and collaborate Set and ask for clear expectations, respond to timelines, and communicate proactively to both the team and client Partner with the PM to balance what's possible vs what's in scope for the desired experience, keeping impact to both the audience and the business in mind Use storytelling skills to communicate and present Escalate issues effectively and with discretion YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH USIFYOU HAVE: 4-year degree or equivalent work experience Prior experience designing in multiple modalities including eLearning, ILT and VILT for various group sizes Proven expertise using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles and blended learning strategies Deep capacity for empathy building with an audience. You truly "get" them and bring the next level of creativity and detail to the table to ensure learning experiences are modern, experiential, and drive outcomes. Consultative skills and ability to work with cross functional teams, across various business lines Extensive experience with leading clients on engagements Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills Capability to work in ambiguous environments and still push ahead to create clarity and action Proficiency in content authoring tools such as Articulate RISE / Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate DETAILS: Virtual / Remote. Considering W-2, temporary, hourly position (with possibility of extension) or Full-Time, depending on business needs. Ability to work in Pacific Time Zone. The targeted range for this role is $100,000 to $168,000, annual equivalent ($48.07-$80.77, hourly). For positions lasting 6 months+, benefits offerings include 100% paid for medical, dental and vision coverage and generous coverage for dependents. Oxygen Experience also offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan, Flexible Spending Account, and a generous paid time-off (vacation, sick, holidays) program. For positions lasting less than 6 months, Oxygen Experience offers accrued paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan after 1,000 hours worked.
