We are seeking a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician to support and maintain a complex industrial facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems while providing hands-on technical expertise and leadership support across maintenance, operations, and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate has strong industrial maintenance experience, mechanical expertise, and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and improve facility systems. This position requires comfort working independently, operating heavy equipment, and supporting facility upgrades and improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility and industrial systems

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, air, and plumbing systems

Analyze building and equipment issues and implement effective corrective actions

Install, repair, and modify building utilities and infrastructure

Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Operate heavy equipment, including scissor lifts, to perform elevated work

Support facility improvements and industrial building upgrades

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Collaborate with operations, engineering, and facilities teams

Provide technical guidance and support to other maintenance personnel as needed

3+ years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance
-
Strong mechanical background with hands-on industrial maintenance experience

Experience working with industrial systems, hydraulics, and building infrastructure

Ability to operate heavy machinery, including scissor lifts

Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (e.g., volt meters)

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire

4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience

Experience supporting industrial or manufacturing facilities

Experience leading or mentoring other maintenance technicians
