Lead Financial Accounting Analyst Apply
Role Overview We are seeking a Lead Financial Accounting Analyst to support one or more of our manufacturing client's operating subsidiaries, a specialized manufacturer serving both internal and external customers. This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, accounting fundamentals, and modern data tools, and is ideal for a senior analyst who wants broader responsibility, a step up in title and long-term growth into finance leadership. This is a hands-on role that crosses between Accounting, Finance and Business Analysis—you’ll own analysis, support the month-end close, and help modernize reporting and decision-making using Power BI and Python. Salary: 90-110,000 Responsibilities Lead financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting for the business unit Support the Controller and Director of Finance (as well as participate) in the monthly close process, including journal entries and variance analysis Partner closely with operations and leadership to understand performance drivers Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, measures, and models Work with data from multiple sources, including ERP and SQL-based systems Use Python for data manipulation, automation, and improving reporting workflows Oversee and support one direct report (AP / clerical / reporting support) Help improve analytics adoption and data-driven decision-making across the finance team Why This Role High visibility role with direct access to finance leadership Ability to diversify your overall skills by understanding and getting your hands dirty in the day to day accounting Opportunity to influence how data and analytics are used across the business Clear growth path into a larger Finance Manager or broader corporate role Stable, profitable organization with multiple operating companies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field Strong understanding of debits, credits, and month-end close Hands-on experience with Power BI - Building dashboards and reports, Creating measures (DAX), Updating and maintaining reports independently, Connecting to SQL or other data sources Working knowledge of Python, particularly for - Data manipulation & Automating recurring tasks or reports Experience working in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment preferred Working Situation This will be hybrid with 3 days a week in the office Apply To APPLY, email or click the Apply button below.
