Lead Flagger/Flagger wanted
POSITION SUMMARY: The general laborers will unload and load flagging supplies, perform flagging out on roads and keep the shop and yard organized.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lifts, carries, loads and unloads various construction items including signs, tools, and anything necessary for the job.
- Make sure trucks are loaded with proper equipment for set tasks.
- Works out in the field performing flagging duties for traffic control.
- Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles in construction zones.
- Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades.
- Communicate with construction crews and drivers to provide instructions and guidance.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed.
- Maintain a safe work zone for both workers and drivers.
- Report any incidents or issues to the appropriate authorities.
- Ensure the yard is organized and kept clean.
- Ensure all safety rules and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Needs to have Reliable transportation.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving skills to handle unexpected situations.
Pay ranges from $18-$25 per hour
Must have a valid drivers license (Clean MVR to drive company vehicle)
License/Certification:
- Flagger Certification (Required)
- First Aid/CPR certification (Preferred)
-This is a full-time position requiring availability Monday-Friday with potential weekends/overtime
-Must be able to stand for long hours as this is a flagging job!
-Ability to lift 35lbs
-MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK
