Lead Front End Developer with relevant Hedge Fund Post-Trade or Treasury experience sought to be a hands-on Full Stack Lead for completely Greenfield UI/UX for a Hedge Fund FinTech.Our client works with a combination of Blazor, Angular, and C#, although candidates can have Frontend expertise with Blazor, Angular or React and Backend skills in Java, C# or Scala. My client is an established player in the sector with a 20+ year track-record and 1,000+ employees, historically based out of the UK & Europe, but who are currently in year-two a 5-year transformation and investment roadmap centred out of the US, with numerous Greenfield projects covering Middle and Back Office. The firm are renowned for hiring and retaining exceptional Computer Scientists and Engineers, providing a platform and environment to work on some of the most challenging problems in Trading and Financial Markets, but with a true Engineering and Research culture, avoiding the normal stresses and cultural issues often associated with working directly for a Trading firm or Hedge Fund.RequirementsSolid sector experience at a Hedge Fund or similar, especially in relation Quantitative Trading Technology. Relevant business experience dealing with business stakeholders in Treasury, Middle or Back Office. Expertise in modern JavaScript – Blazor, Angular or React all relevant.Some proficiency in OO Backend – Java, C# or Scala.Excellent communication skills and able to work onsite in NYC or Stamford four-days-per week.
