We have an immediate long-term opportunity with one of our prime clients for a position Lead Java Developer - Apache Flink to work in Austin, TX OR San Antonio, TX on Onsite basis.

Description:
For a Lead Developer position, focusing on AWS, Apache Flink, Java, Spring Boot, REST and Kafka, We are seeking a motivated and eager Lead to join our dynamic technology team. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about software development who will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions using a modern technology stack. This is an opportunity to gain an enterprise level experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Kafka, and cloud-native development on AWS, while contributing to impactful projects.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Development Experience in cloud computing concepts, particularly AWS services.
Development Experience in Apache Flink Pipeline Jobs.
Experience with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions.
Experience in Golang development for EKS and Lambda.
Experience with Terraform.
Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Foundational knowledge of Java programming.
Understanding of core Spring Boot concepts.
Familiarity with RESTful API principles.
Basic understanding of messaging queues or streaming platforms like Kafka.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, develop, code, and test new features and applications using Java and Spring Boot.
API Development: Build and maintain RESTful web services to support application integrations and data exchange.
Messaging Systems: Develop and work with Kafka for real-time data streaming and asynchronous communication.
Cloud Infrastructure: Contribute to the development and deployment of applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Step Functions.
Infrastructure as Code: Assist in defining and managing infrastructure using Terraform.
Data Processing: Develop and maintain Apache Flink pipeline jobs for data processing and analytics.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with senior engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Testing & Debugging: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects.
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, systems, and processes.
Learning & Growth: Actively seek to learn new technologies, best practices, and improve technical skills.
