Golden-Tech International is seeking an experienced Lead Logistics & Purchasing Coordinator to oversee and coordinate purchasing, logistics, import/export operations, and supplier communications for our flexible packaging division. This role serves as a key liaison between Korean and international suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure products are purchased, shipped, and delivered accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international trade and supply chain operations and must be fully bilingual in Korean and English, with the ability to communicate professionally in both written and spoken formats. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate purchasing activities from purchase order issuance through final delivery. Communicate directly with Korean and international suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, production schedules, shipment status, and documentation requirements. Monitor open purchase orders and proactively follow up to ensure timely fulfillment. Review supplier documentation for accuracy and completeness. Assist management with supplier performance evaluations and vendor relationship management. Support sourcing efforts and identify opportunities to improve cost, service, and delivery performance. Logistics & Import/Export Coordination Coordinate domestic and international shipments with freight forwarders, customs brokers, trucking companies, warehouses, steamship lines, and customers. Manage import and export activities from origin through final delivery. Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays, issues, and delivery updates. Prepare, review, and maintain shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs-related documentation. Ensure shipment documentation complies with customer requirements and applicable import/export regulations. Coordinate delivery schedules with customers, warehouses, and transportation providers. Resolve shipping, customs, documentation, and transportation issues as they arise. Customer & Internal Coordination Serve as a primary point of contact for logistics and purchasing-related inquiries. Provide shipment updates and order status information to customers and internal stakeholders. Work closely with sales, operations, accounting, and management teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Assist with customer order management and fulfillment coordination. Support invoice processing, document verification, and payment follow-up activities when necessary. Inventory & Administrative Support Coordinate inventory movements with third-party warehouses. Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliation activities. Maintain accurate and organized records of purchasing, logistics, inventory, supplier communications, and customer transactions. Prepare reports and analyses related to purchasing, logistics performance, and inventory activity. Identify process improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency and customer service levels. Required Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, import/export operations, supply chain, or related fields. Professional fluency in Korean and English , including excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Demonstrated experience working directly with Korean manufacturers, suppliers, or business partners. Strong knowledge of international shipping, purchasing processes, and import/export documentation. Experience coordinating freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and transportation providers. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. High attention to detail and accuracy. Self-motivated with strong follow-through and accountability. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound business judgment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field. Experience in the flexible packaging, manufacturing, or distribution industries. Familiarity with customs compliance, tariff classifications, and international trade regulations. Experience supporting sourcing and vendor negotiations. Leadership experience mentoring or training junior staff.
