It is their dedication and vision coupled with their technical capabilities, that bring together so many owners, architects, developers, and facilities managers, who rely upon them to help their projects succeed.Job Description:Immediate need for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to help lead the Princeton, New Jersey office. This individual will be the second-in-command, Mechanical Technical Lead. The main responsibility will be to design heating, cooling, heat rejection, air and water distribution, ventilation, air-conditioning, building automation, and controls. In-person office – WFH hybrid on Fridays.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead all mechanical engineering and design tasks out of the Princeton office.Mentor Junior Engineers as well as act as client liaison. Hands-on ability to prepare of all Mechanical engineering contract drawings in relation to building design – This is a hands-on managerial position.Lead the design of all HVAC as well as water distribution, ventilation, and building automation systems.Perform system design calculations, load calculations and energy modeling.Selection of equipment used in building systems.Coordinate work with other engineering disciplines, review RFIs, Submittals, and SHOP drawings. Job Requirements:Minimum of 8 + years professional experience in HVAC Engineering and DesignProven experience as a Project Manager and Lead EngineerKnowledge of state and local codesPE license preferred but NOT required. or on the road to a PE license.Previous design experience with an AE, fire protection firm or MEP engineering firmExcellent communication skills with the ability to thoroughly communicate thoughts and technical ideas.Education: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited four-year collegePE desired but not required. Should be on the road to licensure
