About the Opportunity:

Position : Lead Pega BusinessArchitect

Location : New Carrolton, MD(100% remote)

FedTec is looking for a Lead Pega Business Architect who will manage the collaboration between Business, Technical, and System stakeholders. You will have experience in Pega DCO, leading elaboration sessions, and provide expert advice not only on the business requirements but also on how to best express requirements and design based on Pega platform capabilities.

This is a full-time position Mon-Fri. The position offers remote work.

This candidate will be responsible for the following:

Your responsibility will be to ensure that the strategic goals of the case management modernization are aligned with decisions regarding Business and IT initiatives. With domain expertise and working knowledge of the systems that link these parts of the organizations together, the role of the Business Architect will collaborate with SMEs across the Business to ensure that the results of the delivered solution are aligned with customer requirements. In this role you will:

• Work with the Lead System Architects, Sr. System Architects, and other Business Architects to assist in developing requirements, solution concepts and prototypes
• Partner with multiple stakeholders to develop high quality deliverables across all phases of a project (from identifying and defining process flows and use cases to user acceptance testing)
• Be an expert at the use of Pega DCO & Pega Express
• Organize and Orchestrate DCO / Elaboration Sessions
• Demonstrate commitment to and enthusiasm for customer success by ensuring the delivered product is fully-functioning, performs to business requirements defined and approved by the client, and meets or exceeds expectations
• Mentor and train client business stakeholders in key Pega functionality
• Provide technical training and user support to business groups
• Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions

Qualifications:

• Must provide and demonstrable project experience in leading Pega projects as a Business Architect
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis, requirements gathering/elaboration, design and prototyping of enterprise application systems
• 5+ years of experience in utilizing Pega Express delivery approach, applying design thinking, and working knowledge of Pega platform capabilities
• 5+ years of experience in developing agile artifacts epics/features/user stories/acceptance criteria
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum and/or SAFe based software delivery
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management and organization skills as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Aptitude to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related filed
• Pega Business Architect certification is required

Clearance:

• Ability to obtain public trust clearance
