Job Summary: Were looking for a Lead Pharmacy Technician-Customer Service to join our PharmScript team within our Customer Service department. In this role, youll provide support to the customer service supervisors and perform daily functions.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers. Responsibilities: Assist Customer Service Supervisor as necessary Triaging of incoming phone calls from Nursing Facilities Processing of verbal requests for medication Providing status or confirmation of medication delivery Troubleshooting Outgoing clarifications of medication orders and patient demographic data Coordination of incoming Medication Orders both via fax and by electronic interface Qualifications: High school degree or GED is required Must be registered Pharmacy Technician in applicable state Minimum 6 months customer service experience in Long Term Care Previous Retail Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy experience accepted Knowledge of Brand Name/Generic medications Moderate to advanced computer skills required Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills Strong Framework/DocuTrack knowledge preferred Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently May be necessary to work extended hours as needed May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills Effective communicator Quick and independent learner We Offer: PharmScript offers a robust suite of benefits to support employees and their families.
