Job Title: Lead Physicist

Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 (Annual)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the quality assurance processes for stereotactic radiosurgery treatments.
  • Utilize advanced technologies such as Elekta Gamma Knife Icon in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure compliance with best practices in medical physics.
  • Provide expert technical support and guidance for Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and keep up with advancements in radiation therapy technology.
  • Engage with patients and healthcare providers to explain procedures and ensure proper patient management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical physics, specifically in the area of stereotactic radiosurgery.
  • ABR Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience with Elekta Gamma Knife systems, particularly the Icon model, is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in quality assurance and medical physics in a clinical setting.
  • Familiarity with various treatment protocols and technologies within the field.
  • Continuous learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and practices in stereotactic radiosurgery.
