Job Title:- Lead QA Engineer

Job Location:- Wall Township, NJ (Hybrid)

Long Term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand software requirements and ensure testability.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that resolved defects do not introduce new issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and report key findings to stakeholders.
  • Provide customer support by addressing technical issues, investigating user-reported problems, and offering solutions in collaboration with the development team.
  • Continuously improve testing processes to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in QA and software testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer or similar role with 8 plus years of experience
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestRail).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Must have Utilities experience ( Gas, Electric, water )
  • Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) is a plus.
