Lead Service Engineer - Building Automation Systems Apply
Our large client who is a global leader in building automation systems is seeking a Lead Service Engineer to join their growing team in Northern Virginia to support client’s new construction projects for commercial buildings in the area. This team provides innovative building-management solutions that maximize energy efficiency and sustainable building operation while ensuring comfort. Its intuitive products control and monitor building functions such as heating, air conditioning and lighting for commercial office, education, health care, government, and data center markets. This individual will be crucial to the business by serving as the local point of contact for clients located in the Northern Virginia area for building automation system maintenance, enhancements and general technical support. Training is provided for this opportunity and this team provides a lot of opportunity for growth! This individual will also be provided a company car as well as company gas card. Other responsibilities include:Serve as local contact for technical issues and leader in the field during new constructionPerform system maintenance on field controllers, servers and workstations and field hardwareCommunicate issues and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, and/or repairs.Maintains feedback of equipment scheduling and modifications needed.Manage assigned work to exceed customer’s time and quality expectations.Communicate and document the status and details of the project for the customer.Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on the upgrades/serviceQualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience servicing Building Automation SystemsExperience troubleshooting building automation systems for commercial or industrial type buildingsComfortable traveling to client sites within a 2 hour radius of their home addressSalary: $90,000 – $104,000 (flexible based on years of experience)Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pmSchedule: Will be traveling to client sites on a daily basis that are within a 2 hour driving radius of individual’s home addressHiring Method: 6 month-long contract to permanent full-time hireBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K plans available & Company car and gas card are providedExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
