The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Snowflake, Snowsql, and Spark, and will be responsible for leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high quality software solutions. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Snowflake, Snowsql, and Spark. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development. Optimize and maintain existing software applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Snowflake and data engineering. Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on timelines and resource allocation. Document technical specifications, processes, and workflows for future reference. Mandatory Skills: Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning. Proficient in Snowsql for querying and managing Snowflake databases. Experience with Apache Spark for big data processing and analytics. Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
