About the Role:
Mastercard's Payments Development team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive the development of the Mastercard Send application. This is a hands-on leadership role, leading small projects or functionalities end-to-end while working with cutting-edge technologies in digital payments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of software solutions supporting Mastercard Send.

• Plan technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements.

• Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and contribute to process improvements.

• Participate in PoCs, evaluate emerging technologies, and assist in vendor solution selection.

• Oversee small functionality development from design to production.

Required Technical Skills (Advanced):

• Java, Spring, Spring Boot

• REST APIs, Web Services, JSON

• Angular JS, Microservices

• Apache, JUnit, Maven, Log4j

• PCF

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent

• Extensive experience as a Software Engineer or Technology Lead

• Experience in digital payments (P2P and/or disbursements)

Work Schedule:

• 9 AM 5 PM CST, Monday to Friday

• No overtime or travel required
