In this position, you will take a leading role in creating specialty items such as artisan breads, cakes, and pastries, while ensuring the highest quality and consistency. You will mentor junior bakers, oversee the production process, and innovate new recipes that delight our customers. Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of specialty baked goods, including pastries, breads, and cakes, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Train and mentor junior bakers, sharing techniques and best practices to enhance their skills.
  • Monitor ingredient inventory and ensure that supplies are adequately stocked for production.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new products and improve existing recipes based on customer feedback.
  • Ensure quality control by regularly checking the taste, texture, and appearance of baked goods.
  • Assist in managing production schedules to guarantee timely availability of products for customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a baker, with a strong focus on specialty items preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in training or mentoring staff.
  • Solid understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety regulations.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt recipes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
