W2 Contract Role.

Job Title: Lead Project Engineer - Structural engineering

Location: Broussard, LA 70518 Onsite

Duration: 6 months on a W2 contract (possible extension)

*Manager Note:

• The focus on Structural engineering is important and they want the Lead Project Engineer to be a person who is actively working in the field, not just managing or overseeing – this engineer will be active with the team.

What are the must have’s vs nice to have’s?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required. 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software Experience with structural design work, particularly for
• load-bearing components and frameworks Experience with crane capacity / lifting requirement verification
• Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, electronics, pneumatics, and/or hydraulics preferred Leadership
• experience is preferred Physical capability to perform required field tasks, this is not a role where the team
• member will only “oversee”, this role also requires the team member to be actively working as well.
