Navartis Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Superintendent - Multifamily to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our construction projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of multifamily residential developments, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and various stakeholders, streamlining operations while maintaining safety and compliance protocols. Your expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously will be critical, as you will coordinate schedules, monitor progress, and address any issues that may arise on-site. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on team collaboration, you will mentor and lead junior staff and tradespeople throughout the construction process. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the multifamily construction site and manage construction performance and schedules.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to facilitate progress and resolve issues.
  • Manage subcontractors and labor force to ensure effective execution of work plans in accordance with project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily logs, reports, and schedules.
  • Lead and mentor a team of construction workers, providing guidance and support in their career development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a superintendent in multifamily or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with employees and subcontractors.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction documents, and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle on-site challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and remain on-site to oversee construction activities.
