About the Opportunity:

FedTec is looking for a Lead Pega System Architect to manage the collaboration between Business, Technical, and System stakeholders. You will have experience in Pega DCO, leading elaboration sessions, and provide expert advice not only on the system requirements but also on how to best express requirements and design based on Pega platform capabilities.

This is a full-time position Mon-Fri. The position offers remote work.

Position : Lead Pega System Architect

Location : New Carrolton, MD

Summary: The Lead/Senior System Architect is responsible for guiding the elaboration and delivery teams through design, exploration, and implementation (from design to deployment) of case management solutions while providing Pega Subject Matter Expertise (SME) when designing specific solutions and developing business/functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Business Product Owners and Stakeholders, Lead Business Analysts to translate the business requirements to application.
  • Understands the business vision and translates to technology impacts/solutions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Pega platform capabilities
  • Proposes comprehensive solutions based on business and technical requirements
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to understand business problems to be solved
  • Assists in project planning, including developing of timelines, composition of technical teams and resource allocations
  • Mentors business and technical team members on processes and standards to promote consistency and improve productivity.
  • Assists in the development and review of technical deliverables on projects.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience Post PEGA Lead System Architect Certification and a Minimum of 5+ years work experience Post PEGA SSA Certification
  • 7+ years of experience with hands-on configuration (e.g., PRPC, DCO) and deployment of software solutions at the enterprise level
  • 7+ years of experience working with users/stakeholders and Lead Business Architects to understand and design software solutions
  • Skillsets in Runtime Architecture, Integration Architecture, and Blueprint and Design Solutions are preferred
  • Proficient in Java, strong experience in development of multi-tier applications using JAVA, Tomcat-5.5, WebLogic servers
  • Experience in web services like SOAP 1.2, WSDL 2.0 and XML 1.0 will be an added advantage
  • Experience in AWS will be an added advantage

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related filed
  • Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) is required

Clearance:

  • Ability to obtain public trust clearance
