As a Lead Teacher, you will develop and implement curriculum plans, provide age-appropriate instruction and supervision, interact with children in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate way, assure the supervision and safety of children, perform child observations and assessments and supervise Associate Teachers. This is a unique opportunity to become part of an interdisciplinary team that will deliver the best care and services possible to the children and families we serve.
This is the role for you if you have:
- Minimum Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, including a three (3) credit course in child growth & development
- Knowledge of NAEYC standards and criteria
- Prior experience working with young children
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and positive behavior intervention strategies in order to provide a nurturing environment for the families we serve
Compensation: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
