This role is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment while leading classroom activities and supporting children’s growth. The ideal candidate is a strong classroom leader , passionate about early childhood education , and committed to fostering a positive and nurturing learning experience for children. Key Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily learning activities . Create and maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment . Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development . Manage daily classroom routines effectively. Observe and document children’s progress and developmental milestones . Communicate with families regarding student progress and classroom updates . Supervise, mentor, and support assistant teachers and classroom staff . Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health and safety standards . Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred). Experience working in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting required . Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred . Strong knowledge of child development and early learning practices . Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills . Preferred Skills Experience with curriculum planning and classroom management . Ability to lead and support a team of educators . Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills . Passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment . CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
