Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher - Preschool - Infant/Toddler to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As a Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children's literacy, social skills, and emotional well-being. This position requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.

Nice to have Certifications:

  • 90-Hour
  • 45-Hour
  • 9 Hour communication or college coursework
  • CPR certification
  • ADA certification
  • Breastfeeding certification
  • Basic Health & Safety

Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy education and encourage exploration.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a positive learning environment that supports child welfare.
  • Provide individualized attention to each child, including those with special education needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development through play-based learning.
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall preschool curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Classroom teaching experience in an accredited preschool / early childhood facility a plus.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational or caregiving setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
  • Skills in special education or experience with children who have diverse needs are highly valued.
  • Strong classroom management skills to effectively guide student behavior and engagement.
  • Familiarity with toddler care practices, including nurturing routines and developmental milestones.
