Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 5 + years' experience working in technology with focus on ETL and data analysis.
  • Expert in SQL, data transformation, data quality and data mapping.
  • Experienced with coding language Python.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the design, development, and implementation of software solution.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL (4 - 6 Years)
  • Automation w/Python (1 - 2 Years)
  • Banking/Finance (4 - 6 Years)
  • Data Analysis (4 - 6 Years)
  • Product knowledge in some or all the following areas (loans & leases, deposits, derivatives, securities, equity, capital etc.
    ).
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory and financial reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, etc.
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting systems, legal entities, and role of regulatory authorities.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams.
  • Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives.
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives.
  • Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements.
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions.
  • Lead project or systems documentation and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables.
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems.
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams.
  • Support significant portions of the Axiom implementation and reporting modernization project.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues.
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality.
  • Adhere to data governance standards and procedures.
  • Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data.
  • Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies.
  • Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution.
