Description:
Title: Lead UX Designer
Location: Wilmington, DE (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Duration: Contract 6+ months
Mid-level/Lead UX designer, individual contributor, 4-5 years experience. will have demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing UX designs and have proven proficiency in all aspects of the job.
- Managing all aspects of the design process, from research and ideation to creative conceptualization and design. Collaborating with stakeholders to research and develop cohesive design plans, concepts, and prototypes while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Initiating projects and providing training to enhance the core competence of team members. Works with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders to ensure final design output meets the needs of the organization and its customers
- Analyzing research findings to inform design directions
- Developing cohesive design plans, concepts, and prototypes in collaboration with stakeholders
- Developing schedules, and timelines for projects
- Evaluating new design ideas or concepts, design critiques
- Initiating research activities based on project requirements
- Planning objectives and agendas for design workshops
- Expert capabilities in interaction and visual design, user flows, and information architecture. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, self-direction, and innovative thinking, consistently driving great design, writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in wireframing, Figma, design systems, and other design tools
- JIRA/scrum
- Must have enterprise-level design experience, particularly in Mobile apps
Education: BA in UX, Design, ID, or a similar field
Preferred: Certificate in UX and/or Design Thinking
