At Toptails Vet, we are all about making sure our staff and our furry friends feel right at home during vet visits. We know that going to the vet can be stressful, and that's why we're dedicated to creating an environment that is comfortable and calming for everyone. We've even set up our exam rooms as playful spaces to make them more fun and less intimidating for pets.
We are currently seeking a Lead Technician who embodies our ideals. This position will begin by supporting Dr. Trikha in opening the clinic and will be responsible for setting up inventory, policies, and procedures, managing the flow of the clinic, and overseeing the clinic's setup.
Office Manager/Lead Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire both administrative and veterinary technician teams to maintain a positive and efficient clinic environment.
- Clinical Oversight: Utilize your extensive veterinary technician experience to provide leadership in clinical operations, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Administrative Excellence: Manage daily office operations, client relations, billing, and administrative tasks to uphold the clinic's efficiency and professionalism.
- Training and Development: Facilitate training programs and continuous education for veterinary technicians and administrative staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician (managerial experience preferred)
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT): Valid and current licensure as a Veterinary Technician. Compliance with state regulations and continuing education requirements.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing information on treatment plans, medications, and post-operative care. Assist with client education on preventive care and wellness.
- Clinical Proficiency: Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in veterinary clinical procedures.
- Organizational Acumen: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage both administrative and clinical responsibilities.
