The Lead Warehouse Associate will lead Warehouse activities supporting internal and client operations for Azzur Cleanrooms on Demand (COD) site in Devens, MA from 1PM-10PM M-F.
Essential Functions:
Manage the Warehouse material management shipping and receiving in accordance with company policies and procedures by:
- Receiving shipments and logging receipts according to procedures.
- Reordering and restocking consumables needed in cleanroom operations.
- Scheduling and coordinating GMP waste removal from the facility.
- Scheduling and coordinating client material shipments in compliance with temperature control and chain of custody requirements.
- Executing periodic warehouse cycle counts.
- Providing team leadership to support adherence to procedures and team business practices
Manage the Warehouse and Facilities housekeeping in accordance with company policies and procedures by:
- Directing and performing warehouse and general facility housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse complies with cGMP guidelines.
- Coordinating regular trash and recycling vendor pickups.
- Escorting planned Pest Control inspections by the service provider vendor.
- Performing and documenting internal pest control inspections according to company procedures.
- Performing general housekeeping such as floor-sweeping and mopping, and packaging materials handling to maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
- Inspecting fire and life safety system devices (e.g., fire extinguishers) to ensure good working order.
- Providing team leadership to support adherence to procedures and team business practices
Monitor and support environmental control systems used to maintain client materials according to materials storage requirements by:
- Transacting materials according to inventory control guidelines and procedures.
- Maintaining utilities to ensure Controlled Temperature Operation (CTU) (e.g., LN2 for Cryogenic Freezers).
- Monitoring CTU operations. Acknowledge and respond to the system alarms maintain critical material temperature control.
Provide onsite customer support during clean room operations to ensure client business needs are executed as planned by:
- Transacting client raw materials needed to support manufacturing operations.
- Transacting materials requiring controlled temperature storage (e.g., 2-8°C, -20°C, -80°C, Cryogenic storage) to ensure client temperature-sensitive materials are properly maintained.
- Maintaining high purity gas utilities to ensure client availability to support operations.
Support warehouse leadership team by participating in regular team and warehouse leadership meetings, data collection, and reporting (KPIs), and other duties as needed by:
- Being an active participant in team and warehouse leadership meetings. Lead daily/shift stand-ups as required.
- Collecting data to support warehouse operations. This may include routine metric tracking, and/or ad hoc data collection requests.
- Reporting out metrics as needed during KPI report-outs.
- Occasionally standing in for other warehouse leadership for critical meetings and events.
Requirements
Education:
HS Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor's preferred
Work Experience:
- 3 years experience in role or one with related job skills required; 5 years preferred
- Ability to drive company vehicle for local pick-up or delivery.
