Responsibilities Provide leadership as Emergency Department Associate Medical Director at UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital. Lead, collaborate, and make a lasting impact within a premier academic health system. Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical operations and documentation. Position Profile Annual Volume: 48,000 ED Beds: 28 Fast Track Beds: 5 Psych Beds: 4 Physician Coverage: 41 hours daily Experienced APP Coverage: 35 hours daily Scribe Coverage: Yes EMR: EPIC Employment Type: W2 with comprehensive benefits Urgent Aid Centers in Flossmoor, Tinley Park and Calumet City for 24/7 minor emergencies (Harvey, IL) Facility Information Established in 1923 as a 50‑bed community hospital, UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial has evolved into a 478‑bed, nationally recognized health system serving Chicago's Southland. Spanning a 22‑acre campus, Ingalls delivers advanced, comprehensive care across a wide range of specialties. The hospital is known for excellence in cancer care, stroke services, neurosciences, and orthopedics. It integrates with UChicago Medicine to expand access to leading‑edge clinical practices. Ingalls is committed to patient‑centered care, offering seamless support from hospital visits through recovery. A robust network of outpatient centers ensures convenient access to care close to home, with services including on‑site X‑rays, mammography, laboratory testing, cancer screenings, radiology, and echocardiograms.
