Position Summary

We are seeking a Lean Specialist to join our team, responsible for planning and implementing facility modifications and improvements to operational methods. This role leverages Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across multiple projects, challenging organizational leaders to embrace change and remove barriers to improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Lean Leader and/or independently lead cross-functional projects to analyze and enhance workflows and operations.
  • Conduct studies related to cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement high-quality, efficient processes.
  • Mobilize problem-solving teams to streamline processes and foster cross-functional teamwork.
  • Co-facilitate Kaizen events to drive continuous improvements across operational and office environments.
  • Share best practices with other site Lean Specialists and coordinate improvement plans.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Lean or continuous improvement
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement principles

Preferred:

  • Certification: Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
