Job Description:
As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering in-person leadership and people skills training, overseeing learning programs, and creating engaging digital content. You will play a crucial role in evaluating program success and informing strategic decisions, while collaborating with stakeholders to align project outcomes with business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate onsite training sessions, particularly for leadership and people skills.
- Manage and oversee learning programs, coordinating with specialists at other sites.
- Develop and manage eLearning content and platforms.
- Evaluate program success through data and metrics, suggesting improvements and strategic changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project outcomes align with business strategies.
- Engage a wide network of hourly shift workers in a production plant environment, tailoring learning programs to their needs.
- Design effective learning programs, focusing on instructional design and its impact on learners.
Essential Skills:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Learning and Development interventions.
- Proficient in project management.
- Experience in human resources and manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in eLearning design and facilitation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with RISE and Articulate for building digital learnings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products.
Work Environment:
- This role offers a hybrid work environment with hours from 8 am to 5 pm.
- You will collaborate directly with a team member and work closely within a production plant setting, engaging with hourly shift workers.
This is a Contract position based out of Chesterfield, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
