Learning & Development Specialist Are you passionate about helping people grow and perform at their best? We're looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to design and deliver engaging learning experiences that strengthen our teams and support organizational success. In this role, you'll combine instructional design expertise with hands‑on facilitation, building scalable learning programs while delivering impactful training across the organization. You'll partner with leaders and subject matter experts to develop programs that support operational excellence, professional development, and measurable business outcomes. Work Arrangement This position is in‑office for the first 90 days to support training, onboarding, and collaboration. After successful completion of the onboarding period and demonstrated independence, the role will transition to a hybrid work schedule. What You’ll Do Design Learning Programs Develop structured learning programs and curriculum pathways aligned with business priorities Create blended learning experiences including instructor‑led training, eLearning, assessments, and reinforcement activities Design microlearning content that addresses performance gaps and supports key initiatives Manage the full lifecycle of learning content from design through evaluation and improvement Create Engaging Learning Content Develop interactive training materials using modern learning technologies Utilize AI‑enabled tools to support content development and simulations Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices Measure Learning Impact Design assessments that measure knowledge, application, and skills Analyze training effectiveness and learning transfer into workplace performance Build reports and dashboards to connect learning outcomes to business results Administer Learning Systems Manage learning paths, automation rules, and reporting within the LMS Track required training and support compliance reporting Assist with the rollout of new learning programs across the organization Facilitate Training Deliver instructor‑led and virtual training sessions across multiple teams Lead workshops and professional development sessions Facilitate engaging discussions and interactive learning activities What You Bring Experience 3‑4 years of experience in instructional design, learning systems, training, or performance development Experience designing blended learning programs and structured curriculum Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training technologies Experience measuring training effectiveness or analyzing learning data Financial services or banking industry experience is a plus Education Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred Certification in Training & Development or a related field is a plus Skills & Competencies Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Proficient in using PCs, smartphones, and mobile apps Familiarity with video conferencing tools and other digital communication platforms High technological proficiency, including LMS platforms and AI‑enabled tools Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design practices Excellent facilitation and presentation skills Ability to translate business needs into structured learning solutions Strong communication skills, including written, visual, and verbal storytelling High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence without formal authority Additional Information Travel: Occasional travel to branches in Southern California and Southern Nevada may be required to deliver on‑site training Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams Why Join Us?
