Location - This role must be within 40-50 miles to a \"Branch\" with a preference for Birmingham, Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Dallas, New Orleans, Little Rock, St. Louis, and Tampa.
The Learning Solutions Architect is responsible for the overall learning strategies that increase the capability of client's associates to deliver on business objectives. This position is strategically aligned with key business units and is responsible for the creation of the associated curricula and learning journeys new hire through progression. This position consults with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and the business units to identify learning needs and gaps through diagnostic assessments. This position will contribute to decisions of whether learning solutions should be internally developed or externally sourced. Additionally, this position sources external vendors and directs required modifications. This position establishes methods to determine effectiveness of both the program and strategy. The Learning Solutions Architect at this level will chair business-unit specific Learning Councils.
The role is heavy on consulting and identifying training needs. Instructional Design is really a low priority. The candidate will perform NO design/development of any training solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Strategically aligned with the client's 2.0 initiative and responsible for consulting with leaders, executives, Human Resources Business Partners, subject matter experts and business units to identify learning needs and gaps.
  • May contribute to decisions of whether learning solutions should be internally developed or externally sourced.
  • Establishes methods to determine effectiveness of both the program and strategy.
  • Partners with Learning Architect to develop, execute, monitor initiatives supporting agreed upon business unit-level learning and development strategies
  • Consult with business group subject matter experts, leaders, and key stakeholders to identify training needs
  • Perform learning needs analysis to uncover gaps
  • Lead/facilitate meetings and working sessions
  • Intake support management to include assist determining urgency and priority
  • Update training plan
  • Attend core team and workstream/program meetings
  • Triage items
  • Researches, gathers, analyzes for impacts to new hire programs/current content in partnership with business-as-usual Learning Architect
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Five (5) years of progressive experience in a Learning & Development organization
Preferences:
  • Experience with LMS such as SuccessFactors, Workday, Plateau, etc.
  • Experience in instructional design and learning curation
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and business staff
  • Experience with instructional design and learning curation
  • Ability to apply learning theories and current learning research
  • Ability to communicate with impact to influence key stakeholders
  • Ability to conduct learning needs analysis
  • Experience in managing Learning vendors a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Ability to thrive on a fast-paced, complex, and matrixed initiative
  • Detailed and thorough
  • Problem solving and investigative skills
  • Working understanding of project management
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio, and awareness of agile
