Clemson University: College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences: Psychology Location: BRACKETT HALL Open Date: Jan 05, 2026 Description For this full time lecturer position, we are looking for a dynamic instructor who is capable of teaching a variety of undergraduate classes, including (but not limited to): introductory statistics, research methods, cognitive psychology, personality psychology, and social psychology. The Department of Psychology is a research-oriented department with 39 full-time faculty, more than 1100 undergraduate majors and more than 60 graduate students ( We currently have PhD programs in Health Psychology, Human Factors Psychology, and Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and an MS program in Applied Psychology. Lecturers are expected to participate in departmental service and engage in the broader academic life of the Department. The Department supports professional development and growth through the Lecturer promotion track (Lecturer → Senior Lecturer → Principal Lecturer). Qualifications Applicants must have a master's degree in psychology or a closely related field with a Ph.D. preferred. Applicants must have a demonstrated excellence or strong potential in teaching at the undergraduate level.
