The Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management in the College ofBusiness and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Lecturer (Lecturer, TL020).

JOB DETAILS:

The Department of Information Technology and Supply Chain Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater isseeking a highly motivated professional in supply chain management for a lecturer position. This is a full-time renewable nine-monthappointment commencing in August 2024. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Areas of teaching mayinclude undergraduate courses in supply chain management, depending on the department's needs. The teaching load is four classes persemester. Office hours and service commitments are also required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • M.B.A. from an AACSB-accreditedinstitution or a Master's degree related to the field of teaching
  • Ability to teach a variety ofundergraduate courses in supply chain management
  • Professional experience in the field ofteaching

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Willingness and ability to actively follow applicable safety rules and regulations, including necessary training anddrills
  • Ability to interact respectfully with people from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnicbackgrounds
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include teaching fourundergraduate courses per semester and providing service to the department and the college. On-campus and online teaching are both possible.Service may include committee work and/or student organization advising.
