Overview Position: Lecturer of Business Department: College of Business Campus: North Manchester, IN Target Hire Date: January 2025 We are seeking an Adjunct Professor to teach online courses in accounting, business, or finance disciplines. This part-time role involves delivering high-quality instruction in an asynchronous environment and supporting student learning through timely communication and feedback. Responsibilities Teach 3 to 18 semester hours per academic year in assigned business-related courses. Develop course syllabi and administer assessments of student learning. Provide high-quality instruction and maintain professional effectiveness, including: Intellectual integrity and professional currency. Openness to adopting improved teaching methods. Respond to students promptly and provide constructive feedback. Maintain compliance with university policies and procedures. Collaborate professionally with faculty and staff in a collegial environment. Design new courses as needed. Qualifications Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a business-related field. Effective presentation and communication skills (oral and written). Strong organizational and administrative abilities for asynchronous teaching. Ability to evaluate student work and provide meaningful feedback. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas).
