Offit Kurman, a growing AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to support our attorneys in Timonium, MD. This role will support a group of Bankruptcy attorneys and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage busy attorney calendars, including court appearances, meetings, and events.
  • Draft, prepare, and e-file legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Coordinate new client/matter intake using InTapp and maintain organized case files in NetDocs.
  • Assist with case management, deadlines, and trial preparation.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for clients and outside parties.
  • Process expense reports, reimbursements, and related financial documentation.
  • Provide occasional backup support to reception and office operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of administrative support in a legal or professional services setting.
  • Strong experience with Federal and/or Bankruptcy e-filing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, InTapp, and NetDocs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Chapter 11 bankruptcy experience preferred.
