Galli Law, PLLC is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Administrative Assistant to enhance our team in Syracuse, New York. Our law firm prides itself on providing exceptional legal services in various areas, including real estate and litigation. The Part-Time Administrative Assistant will support our operations by assisting with essential administrative tasks, fostering a welcoming environment for clients, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the office. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible work hours while still making a meaningful contribution to our team. This part-time position is 100% in office and offers $18.00–$20.00 per hour, with flexible daytime hours totaling about 25–30 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible within our normal office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

This is a direct hire position only. NO RECRUITERS OR HIRING AGENCIES!

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls, greet clients warmly, and serve as an initial point of contact for all visitors.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents to maintain office organization.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars for attorneys and staff.
  • Draft and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports as necessary.
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients by collecting and documenting relevant information.
  • Manage office supplies inventory, ensuring necessary stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist the legal team with various projects and tasks as needed.
  • Carry out any additional duties to support firm operations and client service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, presenting a professional demeanor.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dependable and punctual, demonstrating a commitment to professionalism.
