Position: Legal Assistant (Trust & Estates)
Location: Lake Success, NY (On-site, 5 days/week)
A well-established law firm in Lake Success is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Legal Admin with experience in accounts receivable/payable and financial recordkeeping within a Trust & Estates environment. This role will support attorneys and the administrative team in managing financial processes tied to estate administration, while also assisting with day-to-day office operations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant / Legal Admin
- Experience in Trust & Estates or a law firm environment preferred
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bookkeeping
- Experience with financial recordkeeping in legal settings is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or legal/accounting software
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $55,000 – $70,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
