Our boutique Personal Injury Law Firm client is hiring a full-time Legal Secretary to work onsite 5 days per week in their Butler, PA office.For immediate consideration, please contact Tiffany Novak at: tiffany.novak@roberthalf.comResponsibilities:Deliver comprehensive administrative support to one or more attorneys to ensure efficient office operations.Serve as a reliable point of contact, communicating professionally with clients, witnesses, colleagues, and partners.Conduct preliminary client intake and assist with initial screening procedures.Accurately transcribe legal correspondence and documents from dictation.Oversee filing systems and manage legal files in compliance with firm protocols.Draft, prepare, and file a variety of legal documents, including appeals, motions, and petitions as directed.Attain functional expertise in the firm’s case management and legal technology systems to support workflow and record-keeping.Field, screen, and route incoming phone calls, taking detailed messages and ensuring timely follow-up.Maintain and regularly update contact lists and other relevant inventories.Help attorneys meet deadlines by managing multiple calendars, organizing agendas, and providing proactive reminders.Requirements:5+ years of experience as a legal secretary or similar legal administrative role.Strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and medical record collection processes.Proficiency with Office 365 and familiarity with legal technology, including court e-filing systems, transcription tools, and dictation equipment.Experience with litigation management software is an asset.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.Excellent time management, organizational, and typing skills.Comfortable multitasking and working independently in a fast-paced environment.Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
