Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and file legal documents with state and federal courts (electronically and in person)
  • Independently communicate with Defendant’s counsel regarding scheduling depositions and vehicle inspections
  • Coordinate logistics with deposition vendors and vehicle inspection teams
  • Draft template-based Notices of Deposition and related scheduling documents
  • Calendar depositions, inspections, hearings, deadlines, and attorney calls in internal case management systems
  • Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, case updates, and required appearances
  • Schedule attorney calls and maintain organized litigation calendars
  • Coordinate service of process and ensure compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
  • Reserve hearing dates with courts and opposing counsel as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files, including tracking filings, service, and confirmations
  • Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely case progression

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a law firm or litigation environment preferred
  • Experience coordinating depositions and inspections strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with California state and federal court filing systems
  • Strong understanding of litigation deadlines and calendaring procedures
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

This role will be onsite in Century City

The pay will be $23-$32/HR
