To best serve our clients, we provide business law representation as well, including real estate law, general business, immigration, and creditor’s rights. We also believe in being part of the communities in which we live and work, which includes serving the professional organizations that enhance the service we provide to clients and dedicating time to non-profit organizations that improve the lives of our neighborhoods and regions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Assistant to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, edit proofread, and finalize legal documents, such as demand letters, wills, trusts, probates, deeds, and contracts.
  • Manage and maintain organized hard-copy and electronic client files.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, answering questions and providing timely updates.
  • Assist with client intake and manage sensitive client information with discretion.
  • Coordinate real estate closing and manage case schedules and court calendar.
  • Process and file legal documents with the appropriate courts and agencies.
  • Assist with billing, process expense reports, and track continuing legal education credit.
  • Conduct legal research to support attorney work.
  • Research and review titles, deeds, and other property-related documents.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; a Paralegal Certificate or Associate/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a legal assistant or similar role (1–3+ years preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, DocuSign, Zipforms or similar)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree, paralegal certification, or relevant legal training
  • Experience in real estate, corporate, probate and estate planning
