We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Legal Operations professional to join our Legal Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the organizational and project management needs of a globally-based Legal team. Legal Operations serves as the essential behind-the-scenes player that makes the Legal team more efficient, cost-effective, and strategically aligned with the business. 

You will also be managing and making sure our onboarding with providers, internal clients and others are happening, along with due diligence.

You will be working in an international environment and coordinating responses from multiple departments in different countries.

Requirements

Role and responsibilities:

  • Project Management : Play a role in managing legal projects by creating timelines,  establishing clear communication channels, and ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Streamlining Processes : help design and implement efficient processes for handling legal matters. This involves tasks like prioritizing workloads, managing legal spending, and creating reporting systems for data-driven decision making. Work alongside Business Operations to help  implement technology to automate tasks and improve transparency.
  • Vendor Management : execute the process of onboarding Flowdesk to essential service providers, such as banking partners, and manage the due diligence requirements of Flowdesk’s trading partners.
  • Financial Management : Tracking the Legal Budget and negotiating fees with external counsel,creating cost-saving strategies, and analyzing legal spend to identify areas for improvement.
  • Corporate Governance : support and manage the corporate structure and governance, such as corporate resolutions and authorized signatories, across multiple entities and jurisdictions. 

Background and experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Between 1 and 2 years of experience working with project management or paralegal
  • A previous experience working in an International environment. 

Skills and personality

  • Strong project management.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Great sense of communication.
  • Strong sense of detail.
  • Professional proficiency in English. 
  • Legal background is a plus but not mandatory.
