Legal ReceptionistPlaintiff's personal injury litigation firm is seeking a Legal Receptionist to become a part of our growing team. Fluent in both English and Spanish is required. Experience in a law office setting is preferred, but not required.Responsibilities / Duties:Meet, greet, and screen new potential clients over the phone or in personAnswer and route incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system and take detailed messages as needed.Perform clerical duties such as filing, copying, faxing, emailing, etc.Ensure neatness of lobby and conference room areas.Monitor reception area so that non-employees are not permitted into the office without being identified.Provide interpreting and translating services (both verbal conversation and reading and translating written documents) for Spanish-speaking clients.Enter and set up new client information into the firm's databaseMake follow up calls to potential new clients and gather missing documentsGather incident reports and police reports for case evaluationPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:Fluent in Spanish and EnglishStrong written, proofing, and verbal communication skills requiredExcellent customer service skillsCompassionate and able to handle sensitive and confidential informationAbility to prioritize tasks, manage time properly, and work independentlyHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsDue to constant client contact, must be customer-service oriented and present a professional imageAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentMust be on time to work, dependable and reliablePreferred Skills:High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferredFamiliarity with Google Workspace tools such as Google Docs and Google SheetsProficient in data entryAt Hinojosa Law, we believe in giving our clients the truth about where their case stands.
